Sound So Good… It’s Frightening!
The Episode® Home Theater Reference Series (HTR) is our first-ever reference offering! Guided by our approach of “sound based on science,” the HTR series features:
  • Timbre matched to other Episode speaker lines
  • Inverted ribbed surrounds to increase effective piston area and excursion to behave like an accordion, allowing stretching and greater linear cone excursion – all to prevent sound distortion at high volumes
  • CSMs (Coherent Source Modules) that combine a dome midrange and aluminum dome tweeter for efficient response, higher dynamic range, and full-frequency reproduction
  • Tonal Balance Controls for bass, midrange, and tweeter that optimize the speaker for the install environment
  • Rigid MDF (medium density fiberboard) construction reduces vibration, prevents sound pressure level loss, and delivers cleaner sound
  • And more!
Swing by your local Snap One Partner Store and listen for yourself!

Lighting Compatibility Lab

Do you wonder if a particular light is compatible with Control4® dimmers? Struggling in Composer Pro to find the optimal dimmer range levels for a light fixture?

Our Third-Party Lighting Compatibility Lab offers a free testing service for lighting designers, Partners, and lighting manufacturers. We have expanded our testing capacity at our Lehi, UT facility – most lights can now be tested within a week!

When you send in light fixture samples, we test them using several Control4 dimmers and create a detailed report with a graphed dimming curve. We also share the optimal settings we used to test your device. These can be used as a starting point in your customer’s environment. To get started, fill out a Testing Request and send us the light fixture. We will send you the full report and request a return label.

Here’s a sample test report, so you can see what you’ll receive:

Patching Pumpkins or Pumpkin Patches?

No tricks, just treats. The C4 Authentication Patch addresses an issue where some out-of-the-box CORE series controllers (CORE 1, CORE 3, CORE 5, and CORE Lite) do not connect to Composer Pro. Read more about why this happens, how to identify if you need the patch, and patching instructions in the Tech Community.
