GETTING THROUGH THIS TOGETHER Hello All. Hope you and your families are all well. For those of you who are at home, I started to get the sense of what that is like to work at home with a child in my presence. Notwithstanding the great efforts of my wife to try to let me focus, it is hard working at home when you have a child. And, the news is unending on the topic of the virus, which can cause some anxiety in all of us. Given this, I just wanted to send you all a couple of follow-up notes: I ran a company during the dot.com crash and the 9/11 tragedy. The world stopped in many ways for weeks. But, we got through it and emerged stronger than we were when we went into those crises. Then, the depression (not recession) of 2007/2008 came and, once again, we got through two tough years and went on to have our best year after that. Both Control4 and SnapAV got stronger during those times. There is always light at the end of these tunnels. You just have to get through them from a business and a personal perspective. I think the stories I tell my grandchildren will focus on these times of adversity and how teams can use these to grow and prosper. These are crazy times. We will get through it. We will be stronger.
