Here’s a Couple of PCNA Santa Clues
We know that you’ll be signing up for PCNA soon – you are such a smart person, after all – so here’s some historical insight into PCNA scores when setting up Wi-Fi access points. (In other words, pay careful attention to these areas.) Over the last year, 95% of participants did assign most access point settings correctly. The settings that frequently cost people points were: |
- Setting up a 5 GHz guest network
- Access point radio channel selection
- Transmit power
Pass rates varied by scenario, some reaching as low as 75%. You may think 75% isn’t all that bad, but to put it in perspective, Wi-Fi is the part of the network your customers interact with the most often. Did you hear about the angry snowman? It had a meltdown. |
